Kyle Rittenhouse on Friday told radio host Charlie Kirk that he’s headed to school at Texas A&M in College Station, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Rittenhouse was charged with homicide, attempted homicide and reckless endangering for killing two men and wounding a third with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle in the summer of 2020 during a tumultuous night of protests over the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white Kenosha, Wisconsin, police officer. The Houston Chronicle on Sunday confirmed with a Texas A&M spokeswoman that Rittenhouse has not been admitted as a student for the fall semester.
He posted on Instagram a picture of himself in an oversized maroon “Howdy” chair with the caption, “I’m thinking about staying.”
