Denver residents face blue skies, a mostly sunny day with rain showers here and there in the afternoon, intensifying at night with possible thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
The high temperature in Denver will be 76 degrees, weather service forecasters said. Light wind blowing at about 11 miles per hour could gust at speeds up to 18 mph in the afternoon. . Some storms on the high plains Monday afternoon could bring wind gusting at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and small hail, forecasters said.
Today will be another pleasant day temperature-wise with highs in the 70s across the plains. Isolated showers and storms will form this afternoon and evening with the best coverage from Monument Hill to Akron to Holyoke.
