Allegations of workplace bullying and intimidation have led to the dismissal of two top organizers of the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee
Two people in charge of organizing the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee were fired by the host committee’s board of directors late Tuesday, following allegations of workplace bullying and intimidation.
Host committee president Liz Gilbert and her chief of staff, Adam Alonso, will no longer be running the convention plans, and a third-party firm has been hired to conduct an investigation into allegations brought forward by other employees, according to a statement from the board.
