A recent Marquette Law School Poll reveals that substantial majorities of Americans support some of President Donald Trump's early initiatives, while opposing others. This presents a challenge for Democrats, whose resistance to Trump largely occurs within the courts. The poll highlights a disconnect between public opinion and Democrat political strategies.

Most of the Democrat resistance to Trump is unfolding within the courts. This might be because, politically, Democrats are finding themselves in a precarious position, let's say, experiencing a degree of political homelessness. Their response to this situation seems to be a fervent outcry against policies that enjoy considerable public support, as evidenced by a recent Marquette Law School Poll national survey.

This survey reveals substantial majorities of Americans supporting some of President Donald Trump's early initiatives while simultaneously opposing others. For instance, 63% of respondents support the federal government recognizing only two sexes, male and female, while 37% oppose this stance. When asked about deporting immigrants residing in the United States illegally, 60% express favor, while 40% are against it. Furthermore, 59% favor declaring a national emergency due to migrant crossings at the southern border. However, a majority of 57% oppose deporting immigrants who have been in the United States illegally for an extended period, have established jobs, and lack a criminal record, with 43% supporting deportation in this scenario. A larger majority, 65%, oppose Trump's announcement during his inaugural address that the United States will reclaim the Panama Canal, while 35% favor this action. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America garners opposition from 71% and support from 29% of respondents. Democrat House leader Hakeem Jeffries was recently questioned about the popularity of Trump's key agenda items. Hakeem Jeffries appeared to struggle for a response when ABC's Jon Karl presented him with these substantial favorability numbers for Trump. These poll numbers present encouraging news for Trump but potentially alarming news for America. 37% of the population believes in more than two sexes! We develop an understanding of the binary nature of life from a very early age. This duality is readily apparent in our surroundings. Take a stroll down any street, and you'll likely observe men and women paired off. While I have no issue with (say) 10% subscribing to this view, 37% suggests a widespread departure from reality. It's crucial to note that these polls are not confined to registered voters, let alone likely voters. They encompass a broader category of 'Adults,' which includes anyone with a phone, potentially even aliens, both legal and illegal residents. Assessing the accuracy of this poll is a complex endeavor, but a 5-point difference between 'Adults' and 'Likely Voters' is entirely plausible.Over the past 15 years, Democrats have embraced extreme and often illogical positions, and it seems they are unable to reverse this trend. Allowing this party to decline and eventually collapse might be the only logical solution. The percentage of respondents disapproving of renaming the Gulf of Mexico (71%) surpasses the percentage who approved of expanding oil and gas production
