Multiple reports indicated that Demko may have been in discomfort during drills at morning skate, and the team did not announce any injury for Demko.

The 28-year-old is having a dominant season for the Western Conference-leading Canucks, with a record of 33-13-2, a goals against average of 2.49 and a save percentage of .916 in 48 games. Since being drafted in the second round by the Canucks in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Demko has spent his entire career with the team.

In 216 career NHL games, the San Diego, Calif. native has a record of 114-80-17 with a GAA of 2.81 and a save percentage of .912.
