As Demi revealed to Zane, the track is titled "Anyone," and she described it as a heavy and emotional look at her mindset in the summer of 2018. "At the time when I was recording it, I almost listened back and hear these lyrics as a cry for help," she said. "And you kind of listen back to it and you kind of think, how did nobody listened to this song and think, 'Let'sDemi continued, noting that she had decided on sharing the song while still in the hospital.

She confirmed that more new material is coming after the release of "Anyone," saying, "I think as time goes on, I'm going to tell more and more about it.
