For those who don't know, the singer-songwriter has always been open about struggling with body image, so it's encouraging to see that she's finally feeling more comfortable in her skin.from when she was vacationing in Bora Bora, however, she admits now that she edited them — and that she regrets it. "This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULITE!!!!" she writes.
The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer goes on to say that she's starting a new and more authentic chapter in her life, one in which she plans to be truer to herself instead of trying to meet other people's standards. "Here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day," she writes.
And Lovato revealed some exciting career news: She's back in the studio making music again. "I love me. And you should love you too! Now back to the studio.. I’m working on an anthem.. 🙏🏼🙌🏼🤷🏻♀️ ," she drops casually.body positivity and self-love are ongoing processes, and just like everyone else she's still working on them. "Just so everyone’s clear.. I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too. 💗 #nationalcelulliteday #celluLIT 🔥🔥🔥."
