Toronto Paramedics have transported three seriously injured adults to a trauma centre after a daylight shooting in Scarborough’s West Hill neighbourhood.

Toronto police said officers were dispatched to Morningside Avenue and Danzig Street at around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Initial reports said crews had located one victim with gunshot wounds. Paramedics later confirmed to the Star that two other adults were also injured. All of them were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

One person, age unknown, is under arrest. Police said a “significant presence” remains on the scene as crews investigate. It is unclear at this time if the victims or the suspects were known to each other or if it was a random attack.
