“One of the city’s famous trams was set alight by rioters dressed in black and armed with fireworks, according to De Telegraaf. The rioters threw debris and shouted “Kanker Joden” , but it is used to mean “f*** the Jews”,”The rioting continued despite a city-wide ban on all demonstrations and the Dutch police being given emergency powers to deal with the migrant gangs.
Gangs wielding metal bars and fireworks rampaged in the heart of the Dutch capital. “Footage on local broadcaster AT5 showed people in the square throwing fireworks, poles and wooden pallets,” the German TV channelRiots broke out on Monday evening in one of the suburbs of Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, with protesters destroying public infrastructure.
