Early highlights to attend.
Tuesday August 9th sees the 100th Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede kick off with an infield concert. After a tailgate pre party at the watering hole, Tim Hicks and Shawn Austin will take to the stage Tuesday night for a concert in the rodeo infield.
Wednesday August 10th sees the action kick off proper with Ag Exhibitions starting at 10am, fair grounds opening at noon. Noon sees ranch rodeo action on the infield, while 4pm sees the drill team entry before giving way to elite relay racing and chuck wagon action starting from 5:30pm to 8. The kids calf scramble will wrap Wednesday before Chris LeBlanc takes the stage Wednesday night at the waterin hole.
Don’t forget the kids parade Thursday afternoon, the main rodeo parade through Mile Zero on Friday – and the Co-op Pancake breakfast early Saturday morning. The DC Co-op’s dash for cash shopping extravaganza is always a fair play affair as well early Saturday morning for charity.
