In “Harry Potter,” Heyman oversees one of the world’s biggest movie franchises, steering it through eight films in the original series before launching the spinoff series “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” And he’s found plenty of success beyond “Potter” with the “Paddington” films and Oscar magnet “Gravity.
” Heyman has plenty of head-turning titles on the way, too, including Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” a starry adaptation of “The Secret Garden” and Alibaba’s YA live-action and CGI entry “Warriors.” On the TV side, there’s NBC’s clairvoyant drama “The InBetween.” In the meantime, he’s keeping “Potter” fans clamoring, as the “Fantastic Beasts” sequel, “The Crimes of Grindelwald,” hits theaters in November.
