Mount Royal University political scientist Lori Williams said Conservative candidates have historically won the riding by healthy margins, and she’s not expecting it to flip to another party. “I think the nomination might be more interesting than the actual byelection, simply because whoever wins the nomination for the Conservative Party is favoured to win,” she said.
