There’s a rotating list of bad things in sports, but they can all be fixed
Let’s not wade too deeply into the accusations about new Columbus Blue Jackets head coach Mike Babcock. Regardless of who’s wrong, it’s a reminder about the dangers of thinking a sports locker room is a sanctuary.
Babcock and one of his players — in a formal rebuttal to a Spittin’ Chiclets podcast — claim the coach has been forging relationships with his new squad by asking about their families and happily sharing photographs on their cell phones.
