After seemingly dying during the final battle with the Hand, Daredevil has returned to the land of the living with a new mission and a new identity, as a priest in Hell’s Kitchen.
Daredevil #2 is written by Saladin Ahmed and drawn by Aaron Kuder. The cops have shown up at Matt’s parish, asking questions about the children in his care. The police are working on a tip from an organization called “Reveal All Devils.” The anonymous group maintains that Matt’s parish is being used to train criminals. After Matt handles the police, he begins a search for the truth about Reveal All Devils.
Ben Urich's Betrayal Deals Daredevil a Devastating Blow This revelation must come as a blow to Daredevil, as Ben Urich has been one of his oldest and most trusted allies. Created by Roger McKenzie and Gene Colan, Urich first appeared in 1978’s Daredevil #153. Urich, an investigative reporter for The Daily Bugle, would become a staple during Frank Miller’s run shortly afterward, and even learned Daredevil’s secret identity.
Ben Urich Knowing Daredevil's Secret Has Caused Problems Before Even though Ben Urich never divulged Matt Murdock’s double life to the rest of the world, this information has caused problems nonetheless. During Brian Michael Bendis’ tenure on the character, Urich’s assistant learned Murdock was Daredevil. She tried to write an exposé of Daredevil, and nearly ruined Matt Murdock’s life in the process.
