Danny DeVito and Aubrey Plaza are teaming up for a new animated show on FX called 'Little Demon'
“Little Demon” hails from Plaza’s longtime collaborators Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla. It follows a reluctant mother who, 13 years after being impregnated by the Devil , is attempting to live an ordinary life in Delaware with her daughter. However, she is constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.
The DeVitos and their shingle are currently under a first look development deal with FX, and have multiple other projects in development, per the network. Jersey Films 2nd Avenue is represented by CAA’s Barry Kotler and Fred Specktor, and Joel Behr of the law firm Behr, Abramson, Levy. “Little Demon” marks the continuation of an extended creative relationship between Plaza and the trio of Fowler, Kirschner and Valla. Together, “The Terror Team,” as they reportedly insist on calling themselves, have delivered pilots and sketch comedy formats for various platforms.Deadline first reported the pilot order.
