Danielle Smith and her UCP are up in the southern city with 51 per cent support while Rachel Notley’s NDP trails slightly with 46 per cent, according to an Abacus Data poll that surveyed 1,507 eligible voters in Alberta from May 19 to May 22. Across the province, the UCP holds a slight edge, according to the survey results. Among likely decided voters, the UCP is up 51 per cent to the NDP’s 47 per cent.
About 35 per cent of Albertans said they watched the debate while another 28 per cent said they heard something about it, the survey found.
