Danford in Slovakia with Team Canada for annual Hlinka-Gretzky Cup
Canada’s National Under 18 hockey team is in Europe for the annual Hlinka-Gretzky Cup which begins next Monday in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.The 17 year old Danford has just completed his first season in the Ontario Hockey League after the Oshawa Generals made him their first round selection in 2022.
The Quinte Red Devils graduate played in last year’s World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Delta B.C. but this will be his first action as a member of Team Canada overseas.
