Dallas’ four-year graduation rate – 80.1% – is below the state and regional average, a statistic that has provided fodder forDISD’s strategies provide flexibility to high schoolers severely behind in credits as they try to catch up to their peers, officials said. “Some of that is pandemic recovery, but a lot of it is the expansion of all of the programs that we have,” Dallas schools chief Tiffany Huitt said.
