Noguera, who joined the city in June 2017 as housing director, said he will be leading the Miami field office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He indicated that he was burned out with his current position but said he felt his departure was “bittersweet” because “there’s still so much more work to do here.”

Ryan, who was hired as an assistant director in office in May 2021, said she is relocating to Northwest Arkansas where she’ll be working for an engineering consultant firm.. “I’m looking forward to a little bit of a change and going back to my roots as a transportation planner.”She also said being closer to family was a draw for her, saying her parents, sister and other relatives live in the area.
