Dallas Design District apartment sale is latest transaction in area
The Dunhill Design District apartments at 1900 Hi Line Drive were built in 2018 and include more than 200 rental units. Since 2018, the property has been owned by an investment partnership headed by Dallas’ Dunhill Partners. Rents in the property range from near $1,400 to almost $2,300 a month.Dallas’ BV Capital purchased the Design District apartments at Hi Line Drive and Turtle Creek Boulevard.
The sale was financed with a $39.5 million loan, according to county records.The purchase of the apartments follows theHN Capital, a Dallas-based investment firm, and McCourt Partners of New York acquired 800,000 square feet of showroom, restaurant and retail space on 40 acres.The former commercial district northwest of downtown Dallas is seeing continued redevelopment with new office, apartment and retail projects on the way.
