A stretch of nearby State Highway 360 — one of the major routes to the stadium — will be closed for construction of a bridge overnight Sunday. North and southbound lanes between Avenue J and Six Flags Drive will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday through Monday.Texas Rangers also play on Sunday . With a 1:35 first pitch, it shouldn’t impact the aftermath of the Cowboys game. But that could be an additional traffic wrinkle in the late afternoon as people leaving the baseball game share the roads with those entering the area to attend the Cowboys game. Roughly 90,000 people will attend the Cowboys game. The Rangers are averaging 24,500 fans per home game this season.
Traffic is typically less congested south of the district, so drivers might want to consider traveling south on a city arterial, like Collins Street, to I-20.Arlington police will implement special event parking restrictions, which were adopted by the city in 2018 to protect neighborhoods closest to the stadium from noise, traffic congestion and other issues.
