As of Monday morning, DCAD’s online services remain down. In an online statement, the appraisal district said it was working with an IT security vendor and authorities to resolve the issue.

She confirmed the office has no timeline on when the situation will be resolved, but she expected it to last through the weekend.“We have followed the advice of authorities and have not contacted the perpetrator,” DCAD wrote in a Facebook post.
