Daily Faceoff Live: Central Division Stocking Stuffers
With Christmas only a few days away, Tyler Yaremchuk and Mike McKenna decided it’s time to get into the giving season, and come up with some gifts for teams in the Central Division.“I’ve got a couple of them. First, let’s go for the St. Louis Blues, my hometown team. I’m going to get them a “get out of jail free” card from the Monopoly game. And the reason being is that St. Louis has been so streaky this year that they’re going to have another downturn. It’s inevitable.
And then one more team: the Nashville Predators. I’m going to get them some takeout barbeque and we’re going to make sure that Matt Duchene has his guitar on every road trip. The reason being, they’re 8-5-2 at home, they’re 5-8-2 on the road. They’d probably be in the playoff mix right now if they could be better when they get out of Music City. So I think you need Matt Duchene strumming in the back of that plane, doing sing-a-long’s, you need some Jack’s barbeque from Broadway.
