"He's a big fan of is extremely queer both onscreen and off, as most of the cast and crew are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. "I love to see a positive queer relationship," says Waterson. "It was really important to me that it wasn't a coming-out story. The queerness in the film is not the conflict.
