At least nine new Cybertrucks are now sitting in Freemont and they made an impact during the trip from Texas
pickup is closer to production than ever before and new pictures prove it. Over the last few days, a batch of at least nine trucks have slowly made their way from Texas to California. A number of different citizens have snagged photos as the boxy EVs made the journey.last said that Cybertruck production would begin late this year and then expand to mass scale in 2024. Tesla itself has reiterated those claims since Musk’s prediction and for once it looks like things might actually be on track.
In total, the nine trucks showed up on three car haulers, each with three trucks in tow. These Cybertrucks all look nearly identical to the other examples we’ve seen. As the trucks went from Texas to California they were captured by a number of different people. Multiple posts began to pop up on Reddit and Twitter/X of the angular pickups. The Buttonwillow chapter of the California Highway Patrol also jumped into the mix to show off photos of the trucks on Interstate 5.
There’s no word on what these trucks might be doing at Tesla’s Fremont plant but it could be all manner of things. The facility makes the Model S, the Model 3, and the Model Y. Not far from there is Palo Alto, the design headquarters forIt’s worth noting that we can’t be sure about exactly what stage of development these trucks represent. For all we know they’re release candidates or early or late pre production prototypes.
