The Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees approved the 2022-2023 budget for the school district on June 13, 2022, raising the salary for staff district-wide for the 11th consecutive year.Electric vehicles are joining the Cy-Fair ISD bus fleet this upcoming school year, supplementing the current diesel-based buses and saving the district funds.
Cy-Fair ISD is adding 10 electric buses to their daily bus routes as well as the infrastructure required, including charging stations. The buses were approved by the board of trustees in September 2022 and arrive in June. The 10 electric buses will replace 10 current buses.
