Cuyahoga County Public Libraries were filled with people charging their phones, checking out books, and kids utilizing the activities following Tuesday’s storms.

PARMA, Ohio -

“If people need us, they can come on in and use our amenities here whether it’s power or internet obviously there’s plenty to read and do, “ CCPL CEO Tracy Strobel said. “They can make connections with community members and friends. They’re welcome here anytime.” As of Wednesday night, nearly 190,000 customers in Cuyahoga County were without power following powerful storms on Tuesday.On Wednesday, with just 17 branches open due to power outages, they had more than 20,500 checkouts.
