VALLEY VIEW, Ohio -- The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is offering reduced adoption fees on all dogs through Wednesday, July 31 to ease capacity issues. nationwide pet adoption event, according to the press release. Bissel will donate $50 for every completed adoption during the promotion.
All adoptions include spay/neuter services, vaccinations, a 2024 dog license, microchipping and a current rabies tag. “Shelters are continuing to experience high intake levels, causing a significant strain on the animals,” said Mindy Naticchioni, animal shelter administrator, in the release. “We are currently out of kennels for new strays. If you’ve been considering bringing a fur baby into your home, the Empty the Shelters event provides a great opportunity to do so at a reduced cost.”
In addition to the need for adoptions, CCAS has a critical need for temporary foster homes to make space for incoming animals.
