The Greater Sudbury Cubs beat the Powassan Voodoos 4-1 in a Friday game at the Powassan Sportsplex
Landing their ninth straight win, the Greater Sudbury Cubs beat the Powassan Voodoos 4-1 in what a Northern Hockey Junior Hockey League media release calls a “hard-fought affair.”The Cubs picked up an early power play, which allowed defenceman Kyloe Ellis to more from the left point and fire a shot past the blocker of Voodoos’ starter Daniel Dirracolo to score a goal 1:38 into the game.
Near the close of the third period, Cubs player Oliver Smith capped things off with the team’s fourth goal.
