Cruise ship Hanseatic Inspiration arrives in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY — Passengers visiting Thunder Bay on the cruise ship Hanseatic Inspiration are getting a chance to experience something not previously available to visitors docking at the Pool 6 terminal.

When the 230 European passengers disembark, they'll encounter a dockside market organized by the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay, the operator of the Alexander Henry museum ship. The Hanseatic Inspiration is owned by Hapag-Lloyd, and is making two trips to Thunder Bay this season.After clearing customs, the passengers will be taken on shore excursions including visits to Fort William Historical Park, Kakabeka Falls, and other local attractions.
