A flag was raised at city hall to mark January as Crime Stoppers Awareness month.

THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Crime Stoppers receives more than 1,000 tips per year, but they only have four volunteer members.“I'm just appealing to the public, if you have time, if you want to give back to the community, this is to give back to the community,” he said.

“I want people to look at and say where they live, where they work, it's safe for them. We want to make Thunder Bay and district a safer place for everybody to live and work in,” said Nicol.
