Toronto Police are seeking the public\u0027s help in identifying a suspect in a stabbing investigation downtown.
A 72-year-old woman from Vaughan, an occupant of the Ford, was killed as a result. The occupants of the Mazda and Mercedes received minor injuries. Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, and to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area around the time of the collision, to please come forward.

Cops say around 5:15 p.m. officers received reports on an armed person in the area of Ritson Rd. N. and Adelaide Ave. E. Officers found a victim with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect had approached a group of youths while brandishing a knife. The youths ran, and one of their brothers intervened and was stabbed by the suspect when he confronted him. The suspect stabbed the victim in the chest and then fled the area on foot and was taken into custody following a foot pursuit.
A 15-year-old male from Oshawa is facing eight charges, including: aggravated assault; two counts of assault with a weapon; and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det./Const. Williamson of the Central East Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2727.A Scarborough man was battered late Thursday night and is in serious condition in hospital. According to cops, officers arrived on scene around 11:35 p.m. at Markham Rd. and Eglinton Ave. and found the man assaulted. Police arrested a suspected nearby and took them into custody.
