Officers were called Friday to a shooting in a park area around 11 a.m. at Brass Winds Place in the Mavis Rd.-Hwy. 401 area.The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Hammad Shaikh. Farhan Durrani, 34, of Mississauga, is charged. The victim and the accused are known to each other and there are no outstanding suspects, according to police.A 28-year-old man was shot in the leg in Greektown early New Year’s Day.The call came in at 5:37 a.m. at Logan and Fenwick Aves. Danforth Ave. was closed between Logan and Fenwick most of the morning.
