A spokesperson for the fire department tells CHEK News that firefighters got the call around 6 a.m. They say the building is located at 141 Memorial Ave., next door to Oceanside Animal Hospital. Several posts on social media show a large cloud of smoke spewing from the site as fire crews battle the flames from the ground and using a ladder.
