Creature Commandos, the upcoming DCU animated series written and executive produced by James Gunn, has been given a release date.
. It will be the first official project that is part of Gunn and Safran’s forthcoming DC Universe, also known as theCreature Commandos will premiere on Max on Thursday, December 5, 2024. New episodes of the seven-episode Max Original series will continue to drop weekly, with the finale then airing on January 16, 2024.“Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans,” the logline for the series reads.
The series’ voice cast includes Steve Agee as Economos, Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana, Anya Chalotra as Circe, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sean Gunn as GI Robot and Weasel, David Harbour as Frankenstein, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, Indira Varma as The Bride, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.and Warner Bros. Animation produce Creature Commandos, while Safran, Dean Lorey, and Sam Register also serve as executive producers alongside Gunn.
