The Welsh government will continue to recommend people take simple steps to protect their health, including staying up to date with COVID vaccinations and self-isolating if they have symptoms.The number of COVID-related patients in hospital is gradually falling, but the government said the NHS continues to experience pressures from the pandemic.
England removed its final COVID restrictions in the country in February and international travel restrictions were removed in March. Scotland lifted its final COVID restrictions in March while Northern Ireland removed all restrictions in February.
