COVID-19 outbreak at Edmonton Walmart supercentre as Alberta records 426 new cases in three days
“It is not clear at this time if these staff were exposed at work, or if there is a common exposure outside of the workplace,” said Hinshaw. “Our goal is to keep daily case numbers low, avoid outbreaks and manage them carefully when they occur.”
She also announced an outbreak at the Calgary Kidanemehret Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church, where there have been 57 confirmed cases. The North Zone currently has 174 cases while the Central and South zones have 27 and 24 cases, respectively. There are four cases not linked to a specific region.
