Mobile COVID-19 testing is coming to Mabou and St. Andrews Channel. - FileMABOU, N.S. — Nova Scotia Health’s mobile COVID-19 testing unit will be in Cape Breton from Aug. 27-28.
On Saturday, Aug. 27, testing in Mabou will take place at Mabou Parish Hall at 11538 Nova Scotia Trunk 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next day, Sunday, Aug. 28, the mobile unit will be in St. Andrews Channel at the Ben Eoin RV Beach Resort at 6140 East Bay Highway from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The mobile testing unit will offer a limited supply of rapid take-home tests to community members based on availability.
Those looking to book a PCR test or rapid test are asked to go through the assessment online or by calling 811.
