Six more people in Newfoundland and Labrador have died from COVID-19 since Friday.
Numbers posted to the province's online COVID-19 dashboard show there are 35 people hospitalized due to the disease, seven of whom are in critical care.
Officials have said the province's health-care system can handle between 40 and 60 COVID-19 patients in hospital.Newfoundland and Labrador dropped its last pandemic-related restrictions on March 14, including the mask mandate in public places apart from health-care facilities and schools.
