Police believe a Courtice man is behind a shooting in Montreal. Montreal police reached out to Durham police after a shooting outside a club back in Septembe
Together, they searched a Courtice home in the Gord Vinson Avenue and Eastfield Crescent area last week.The suspect, Ezekiel Beckford, 29, along with two others, Rebecca Favreau, 30, and Shakeem Devon Beckford, 30, all of Courtice, were arrested.
Ezekiel Beckford is charged with numerous offences including possess restricted firearm – no licence, possess loaded restricted firearm, possess firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with, deal with firearm contrary to registration. He was held for a bail hearing. Favreau is charged with numerous offences including: possess restricted firearm – no licence, possess loaded restricted firearm, possess firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with. She was released on an undertaking.
Shakeem Devon Beckford is charged with numerous offences including: possess restricted firearm – no licence, possess loaded restricted firearm, possess firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with, deal with firearm contrary to registration.
