The court document, filed earlier this week and made public Friday, bring to 10 the number of alleged victims dating back to 1977
The new sexual-assault charges laid this week against Canadian business magnate Frank Stronach involve new allegations involving seven complainants dating back to the late 1970s.
The document also says Mr. Stronach is charged with six counts of sexual assaults alleged to have occurred in Toronto in 1983; Toronto in 1988; Scarborough in 1990; Aurora, Ont., between January, 1999, and December, 2003; Aurora, Ont., between September, 2001, and June, 2002; and Gormley, Ont., in February of this year.
“Mr. Stronach denies and will vigorously defend these further untested allegations dating back to 1977,” that statement says. On June 7, Peel Regional police laid five charges against Mr. Stronach as part of a sex-assault investigation. Investigators say those alleged attacks took place in 1980, 1986 and 2023. Those charges included allegations of rape, indecent assault, forcible confinement and two counts of sexual assault.
