The Lower Paxton Township Authority has taken the Colonial Park Mall to court over years of unpaid sewer and stormwater bills.
The authority has asked the Court of Commons Pleas of Dauphin County to order Colonial Park Mall Realty Holdings LLC to pay $184,859.34, plus penalties and sewer charges, stormwater fees, administrative fees, and costs incurred after the mall received notice. Steven Stine, the solicitor for the township authority, said he believes the bills date back to approximately January 2020.
However, we’re a long way from that happening. The mall still can respond to the court. And Colonial Park Mall Realty Holdings LLC would have up until the sale to pay the overdue bills, according to Stine. The former Bon-Ton department store at the Colonial Park Mall on Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township has been vacant for several years. February 3, 2023. Dan Gleiter | [email protected]
