A couple vacationing in Florida with their children were arrested after they allegedly passed out on the beach with alcohol and their children nowhere in sight.
Body-worn footage shows Volusia County sheriff's deputies trying to wake up Alyssia Langley and Timothy Stephens of Georgia who were allegedly passed out on the beach and intoxicated. The couple was arrested and charged with child neglect on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Volusia County Sheriff's Deputies received a tip about the two being drunk and asleep in the sand, according to the arrest report obtained byIt took minutes and several attempts from deputies to wake up Langley and Stephens who were sleeping in the sand. Deputies stated in their report that Langley and Stephens had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol when they woke up.Stephens responded a few times that the children were "at the beach."
