The entertainment world has been mourning the death of actor Dabney Coleman across the past couple of days, and the list of those heartbroken by his loss includes country music legend Dolly Parton.
The 78-year-old singer worked alongside Dabney in the 1980 film, “9 to 5″, and she made her feelings clear Monday on Instagram.“Dabney was a great actor and became a dear friend,” she wrote. “He taught me so much when I was doing my first move, 9 to 5. He was funny, deep and smart. “We remained friends through the years,” she added, “and I will greatly miss him, as many people will. Love Dolly.”“My father, Dabney Wharton Coleman, took his last earthly breath peacefully and exquisitely in his home on Thursday May 16th at 1:50 p.m.,” his daughter, Quincy Coleman said in a statement. “My father crafted his time here on Earth with a curious mind, a generous heart and a soul on fire with passion, desire and humor that tickled the funny bone of humanity.
