) has announced its first membership price increase in 7 years, taking effect Sunday, September 1. The wholesale grocery retailer will raise the cost of its Gold Star membership by $5, bringing it to $65. Similarly, the Executive membership will see a $10 increase, reaching a new price point of $130. Costco announced its first membership fee increase in seven years last month and the new prices took effect on Sunday here with what you can expect from.
Now keep in mind if you already paid an annual fee before Sunday, don't worry, you don't need to pay the difference, but when you do renew come next year, you will have to pay the new higher prices.The company said with a little over half of which are executive memberships and a quick note for Costco investors.
