Coronation Street has teased an explosive "knife-edge showdown" between Lydia Chambers and Adam Barlow on the ITV soap.
Things take an even more sinister turn when Lydia claims Adam broke in and trashed her flat, and later warns him that she’s not done with him yet... Following the news that ITV is extending its national and international news programming, Emmerdale and Corrie will both have new slots and become part of the channel’s "super soap" nights.
Teasing what viewers can expect, Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod said: "It's an exciting time for the show and these stories will propel us into the hour-long era with a bang and all the characteristic drama, humour, twists and intrigue that Corrie viewers have come to expect.
