Former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has battled the incurable skin condition for two years

Former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote has gone public with her illness which sees pale white patches develop across her skin.

Taking to Instagram the actress posted a series of images to her story where she explained how vitiligo affected her. "The area that's white has no melanin. So it will not tan at all. Making the skins around it nice and brown which makes the white appear even whiter." Summing up her openness to her condition, Georgia explained she's still herself but she just has "funky skin" now.
