A multi-hour graduation ceremony hosted by Facebook and Instagram and featuring a commencement address by Oprah Winfrey will be livestreamed on May 15.
Graduating students can apply to give a speech or performance at the ceremony or nominate classmates for these roles. There's also an option for students to create their own digital graduation announcements, which can be forwarded to family and friends.
On the Video Booth page, people can upload clips of themselves giving positive messages to graduating students. Other big names making appearances include former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang, tennis star Billie Jean King, Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin, comedian Margaret Cho and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
