A few weeks ago, the premier renewed his five-year-old promise to get beer and wine in corner stores and slapped The Beer Store's "monopoly ... owned by three big conglomerates.” And another new Atlas registration is Empire Company Ltd., the parent company of the Sobeys grocery chain. Its goal is "to engage the Government of Ontario on the Blue Box Regulation, which falls under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act. Our primary objective is to work towards the establishment of a comprehensive industry-wide solution for the Blue Box program.
