Conners played a bogey-free final round Sunday for the second PGA Tour win of his career at 15-under, holding off a late charge from Sam Stevens.

As Rodgers stumbled early, Conners was smooth from start to finish Sunday, shooting a bogey-free 4-under to finish 15-under for the tournament and claim the 2023 Texas Open championship. He also pushed through a dramatic final round in 2019, notching birdies on four of his first five holes, following with four straight bogeys, and then rebounding with six birdies on the back nine.
An eagle on the 17th hole moved Stevens within one stroke of the lead, as he drove 299 yards to the green and converted a 9-foot putt. Building on his third-place showing at last week’s Corales Puntacana Championship, Stevens notched five birdies and three bogeys Sunday.
